Crucible

Crucible supplies the menus, settings, permissions and shared services used by every Meadworks product. It adds no gameplay on its own and installs automatically with suite mods.

Features

• Open installed Meadworks products from F8 or Esc > Meadworks, with gamepad navigation throughout the shared windows.
• Edit product settings even without optional Almanac; each product opens its settings and registered feature actions directly.
• See setting ownership, local/server scope and lock reasons; the server controls shared gameplay settings and cheat grants.
• Save accepted personal edits through the owning setting while keeping remote server values separate from your saved preferences.
• Choose Timber or Brown panels, border details and night shading; optional native-menu styling applies to Valheim and Meadworks windows.
• Stack Meadworks notices with repeated messages combined and overflow queued; timers pause while player windows hide the stack.
• Set notice position, duration and maximum visible cards locally. Defaults are TopLeft, four seconds and five cards; other mods keep their own UI.
• Keep logs quiet by default with errors and warnings, per-product levels and repeated-line counts; optionally filter console output from other mods.
• Keep cheat-marked and clean items in separate stacks; optional past-stat achievement resync skips characters that used cheats and defers to AchievementSync.
• Set a shared experience multiplier for Meadworks custom skills; use meadworks in the console to list installed versions and session authority.

Install and settings

Install with a Valheim mod manager to resolve dependencies automatically. Settings: F8 or Esc > Meadworks; Almanac is optional. Files: BepInEx/config/com.meadworks.crucible.cfg and com.meadworks.crucible.ui.cfg. Version 0.3.39. Required on the server and every client; use matching versions. Dependencies: BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2360, Jotunn 2.30.2. Strict admission requires Meadworks clients; server cheat grants default locked. Required products turn off when joining a server without Meadworks.
