This is an updated version of the wonderful CombatMomentum mod by SENEZ, who is the original author and creator. Unfortunately, the original mod is out of date, so I created this version. It has been rebuilt for the release version of Valheim, includes configuration support, and contains bug fixes.

Combat Rhythm System for Valheim

Description

Combat Momentum is a mod that adds a dynamic combat system to Valheim based on perfect parries.

Each successful parry grants you a stack of Momentum a combat resource that empowers your character in battle. The more stacks you have, the stronger and more dangerous you become against enemies.

Mechanics

• Each stack lasts 10 seconds
• A new parry refreshes the timer
• Stacks are lost one by one when the timer expires
• At 5 stacks, you gain a 20% chance to deal double damage

How to Play

1. Use a shield or weapon to block
2. Perform a perfect parry (block within 0.25 seconds of the hit)
3. Gain a Momentum stack
4. Build up to 5 stacks for maximum power
5. Watch the timer on the HUD
