Wanderer's Shelter — Portable Expedition Camp

Your whole base in one flask. Drink the Tent Kit and raise a full camp wherever you stand — workbench, forges, storage, bed, decor, cooking — then pack it all back with Q and carry on.

How it works

Craft the Wanderer's Tent Kit at a level 1 workbench (Wood / LeatherScraps / Resin) and drink it: the camp raises around you. Press E on the camp totem for the tent menu (Build / Upgrade / Access) — no console needed. Shift+E upgrades the tent, Q packs everything back into the kit, into the same slot.

• Tent levels I/II/III, round wooden floor, leveled ground, rain-proof roof.
• Workbench 1+4, forge 1+6, black forge 1+5 (extensions work, hidden under floor).
• Storage in 6 tiers (10 to 50 slots), contents travel with the camp.
• Beds in 3 tiers: sleep and respawn by vanilla rules, campfire warmth included.
• Decor: rugs, table, chair — comfort from real objects.
• Cooking: 2 spits + cauldron with 6 upgrades over an eternal campfire.
• Buy once, keep forever: bed, storage, decor and cooking are paid once,

then placed and removed freely.

• Co-op access: per-module use permissions (workbench and forge open

by default, chest and bed closed until you allow them).

• 10 interface languages, custom tent icon.

Server and co-op

Everyone playing needs the mod (server-enforced). All camp changes go through the server: resources are checked twice, denied actions are refunded, and only the owner can build, upgrade or pack. Guests use only what the Access tab allows.

Installation

1. Install BepInExPack_Valheim

and Jötunn.

1. Close Valheim completely.
2. Extract this ZIP into your Valheim game folder. The DLL should end up at

BepInEx/plugins/WanderersShelter/WanderersShelter.dll (with wstent and tentkit_icon.png next to it).

1. Launch Valheim, craft the Tent Kit, drink it.

To uninstall, close the game and remove the WanderersShelter plugin folder (pack the camp first, or it stays in the world as vanilla pieces).

Compatibility and notes

• Targets Windows PC and current Valheim + Jötunn 2.30.x.
• Config lives in BepInEx/config/com.valheimmods100.wanderersshelter.cfg

(recipe multiplier, costs, pack key). Gameplay costs are server-synced.

• The tent mesh is a fixed 12m A-frame: it cannot be enlarged.
• Hammer repair/destroy of tent pieces is disabled on purpose (pack instead);

campfire, decor sitting and cooking stay public by design.

• Console (cheat): ws_tent give|deploy|pack|clear|build|unbuild|upgrade,

ws_info, ws_fire [here], ws_layout [clear].
