Corsairs – The Invaders Have Arrived!</br> Corsairs introduces a new faction of enemies to Valheim: the fearsome Corsairs.</br> They are invading all biomes, setting up camps filled with treasures and imprisoning slaves.</br> Get ready to plunder, free the captives, and face a powerful boss for legendary rewards!</br>
CORSAIR CAMPS (click to expand)
</br> • Corsair camps will appear scattered across the game's 6 biomes: Meadows, Black Forest, Swamp, Mountain, Plains, and Ocean.</br> • Each camp is filled with enemies and valuable treasures. Keep an eye out for the chests!</br> • In the Plains and Ocean camps, you can take possession of the corsairs' boats after defeating them.</br>NEW ENEMIES (click to expand)
</br> • Face different types of Corsairs, who get stronger as you progress through the biomes.</br> • Discover the location of the boss island in the Plains and prepare for the final showdown against Rollo The looter.</br> • By defeating him, you can loot his body for unique treasures, including Marlthon's Sword and Marlthon's Shield, powerful items for your journey.</br>FREE AND RECRUIT SLAVES (click to expand)
</br> • Find slaves trapped in cages inside the camps.</br> • By freeing them, they will become your loyal allies, helping you fight against enemies.</br> • Don't forget to feed them! They eat CookedMeat, CookedDeerMeat, and FishCooked.</br>HOW TO PLAY: (click to expand)
</br> How do I find the boss Rollo?</br> • In the Corsair camps in the Plains, you will find a special Vegvisir that will reveal the location of the boss's island on your map.</br> </br> How do I summon the boss Rollo?</br> • You need 10 "Bronze Padlocks". When you arrive at the boss island, find a large soup cauldron. Throw the 10 padlocks into the soup to anger Rollo and start the battle.</br> </br> Where do I find the Bronze Padlocks?</br> • "Bronze Padlocks" are dropped exclusively by Corsairs found in the Plains camps. You can also find them in the chests within these camps.</br> </br> How do the freed slaves work?</br> • After being freed from the cages, they become your followers and will attack nearby enemies. Remember to feed them Cooked Meat, they will eat any cooked vanilla meat.</br> </br> How to free the slaves?</br> • You need to use the pickaxe on the cage that imprisons the slave. Each biome and its respective cage requires different pickaxes.</br>HOW TO ADD LOCATIONS TO OLD MAP (click to expand)
</br> Always create a backup of your world before installing or updating this mod. Use at your own risk.</br> • Install Corsairs mod.</br> • Install the UPGRADE WORLD mod and its dependencies.</br> • Start the game as administrator.</br> • Open the console and type:</br>- corsairs to spawn Corsair camps on your old map.</br>
- corsairs_remove to remove Corsair camps on your map.</br>
• Wait for the process to finish, it takes between 20 or 30 seconds.</br> • On dedicated servers you need to download the map and do the steps above in singleplayer</br>
MANUAL INSTALL (click to expand)
