About CorpseHarvest

From Thunderstore

Harvest monster corpses with E — crouch with your knife visibly in hand. Knife damage, Knives skill and creature size shape speed, yield, jackpots and trophies. Cancelled harvests save progress. Works with modded creatures.

CorpseHarvest

Creature corpses no longer auto-drop their loot — crouch down and harvest the body, or it rots away with the corpse.

Features

  • Harvest with a single press of E (hold-to-work is available as a config

option).

  • Harvesting crouches you (the same pose as pressing C) and can play an

arm-motion overlay on top — a crafting-animation "feel" (Workbench by default, or Cauldron/Forge/None, with its own speed and strength settings) that everyone else in the world sees too, not just you.

  • Your tagged harvest knife (or empty hands, bare-handed) shows in your hand

while you work — purely visual, nothing is actually equipped/unequipped, and whatever you had before comes right back the moment the harvest ends.

  • Harvest progress saves per corpse: cancel partway through and come back

later (or let someone else finish it) to resume from where it left off — aiming at a partially-harvested corpse shows the saved progress %.

  • Moving (gamepad included), blocking, attacking, dodging, jumping, or the

crouch pose itself breaking for any reason cancels an in-progress harvest — progress up to that point is still saved.

  • Harvestable corpses show their monster name and a highlight tint while

you're aiming at them.

  • Knife damage speeds up harvesting — the sharper the knife, the faster the

harvest.

  • Middle-click a knife in your backpack to mark it as your harvest knife.

No knife tagged (or it breaks) → you harvest bare-handed: 3x slower and no Knives XP.

  • The tagged knife loses 1 durability per completed harvest — Knives skill

gives an increasing chance to skip that drain entirely.

  • Knives skill raises jackpot chance and yield multiplier on a knife harvest.
  • Trophies are capped at 1 per corpse; Knives skill raises the chance of

getting one.

  • Creature size changes harvest time and Knives XP: a creature's base max

health (before star bonus) relative to Size Reference Health scales both, so tiny creatures harvest faster for less XP and huge ones slower for more.

  • Tough creatures: some creatures need a sharp enough tagged knife for a

full-yield harvest (Tough Creature Tiers). A weaker knife (or bare hands) never blocks harvesting — it only reduces yield, down to a configurable floor.

  • Freshness: a corpse's yield eases down the longer it's been dead,

reaching a configurable minimum right before it would have rotted away.

  • At a high enough Knives skill, Auto Loot sends a knife harvest's results

(trophy included) straight into your inventory instead of dropping them on the ground.

  • Harvesting leaves a pick-up-able bone pile behind: human remains by

default, or "Animal bones" for four-legged beasts (configurable list) — sized to the creature (small creatures leave a bigger pile relative to their own size, large ones an even bigger one), placed on the actual ground/floor beneath where the corpse was, tilted to match the slope.

  • Trophies, corpse names, and bare-hand/tough-knife handling all use the

creature's own data — works automatically with monsters added by other mods (anything with a normal loot table and Character.m_health).

  • Floating corpses (water, tar) can be harvested too — they aren't frozen in

place until they're actually done drifting.

  • Text is in Korean when the game's language is set to Korean, English

otherwise.

Configuration

"Shared" = synced from whoever opens/hosts the world and locked for everyone else. Not shared = each player keeps their own value.
