About QuickTeleport
From ThunderstoreFaster portal and instant dungeon teleports with Official OdinPlus Quick Teleport. Compatible with Valheim 1.0 (Deep North) and Teleport Everything ecosystem. No patches needed.
QuickTeleport
Spend less time waiting through portal and dungeon transitions. Adjust the fade and loading delay, with FullWorld safety enabled by default. Compatible with Valheim 1.0 (Deep North).
QuickTeleport works on its own and preserves Valheim's normal movement and destination choice. TeleportEverything adds an optional in-game settings page.
- Tune portal and dungeon fade and loading delays separately.
- Keep FullWorld arrival safety as the default.
- Choose faster arrival behavior when you accept the loading risks.
Getting started
Install BepInExPack for Valheim and place QuickTeleport.dll in Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/, or install with Gale (Recommended). A server install is optional for local use; install matching versions on participating clients and any server that enforces its synchronized switches.
Use ConfigurationManager or edit BepInEx/config/elg.QuickTeleport.cfg. With TeleportEverything, open My Settings → QuickTeleport for your timing and safety choices. The host or a native server admin controls the server switches in Server Settings.
Configuration
QuickTeleport has no YAML policy. Its CFG keeps server-controlled enable switches separate from local fade, delay, safety, and diagnostics settings:
CFG settings example
[General]
Force Server Config = On
Enable Quick Teleport = true
Enable Teleport Diagnostics = false
[Portals]
Enable Faster Portals = true
Portal Fade Time = 0.2
Portal Load Safety Delay = 0.5
[Dungeons]
Enable Faster Dungeons = true
Dungeon Fade Time = 0.2
Dungeon Load Safety Delay = 0
[Safety]
Arrival Safety = FullWorld
Fade values and loading delays range from 0 to 2 seconds.
- FullWorld is the recommended default and waits for the destination to be ready.
- TerrainOnly waits for the terrain zone, so buildings may appear after arrival.
- Immediate skips readiness and can leave you falling before the destination finishes loading.
These options can change the wait, but cannot guarantee that every destination loads instantly.
With the server installed, Force Server Config defaults to On and locks the synchronized enable switches. It does not synchronize timing, Arrival Safety, or diagnostics. In TeleportEverything, only the host or a native server admin may save server switches.
Compatibility
| Compatible | Mod | Quick description | | --- | --- | --- | | Yes | TeleportEverything / TeleportCreatures / TeleportCarts / TeleportBoats | Settings and transport behavior remain module-owned. | | Yes | TargetPortal | The native selected destination is respected. | | Yes | Basements / OdinsUndercroft | Instant dungeon transition compatible. | | No | FastTeleport(GemHunter1) / QuickTeleport (Muindor) | Overlapping teleport timing behavior is incompatible. |
Troubleshooting
- Transitions still take time: FullWorld waits for destination readiness. Try TerrainOnly to reduce the wait while still waiting for the terrain zone.
- The destination appears late: TerrainOnly can show terrain before structures are ready. Immediate skips readiness and carries the risk that you arrive before the area is loaded.
- A server switch is locked: the server controls the synchronized enable switches when Force Server Config is on. Ask the host or admin to change them.
- Configuration does not reload: check
elg.QuickTeleport.cfgfor invalid values and review the BepInEx log. Correct the file and save it again. - A conflict appears: check the Compatibility table and avoid installing overlapping teleport timing implementations together.
Support
QuickTeleport is free. If you’d like to support maintenance and future development, you can leave an optional tip on Ko-fi.
