Rusty Heathens Messenger
1.0.0 - Boss announcement fix
Boss defeat detection now requires an actual boss and an exact supported boss prefab. Fader's summoned melee and archer adds no longer count as Fader, and partial-name matches are removed for all seven previously supported bosses.
Update Messenger on the server and every participating client together. An older client can still send a false boss report to an updated server. Back up your current DLL and configuration, stop the server/game, and replace the old Messenger DLL. Remove duplicate Messenger DLL copies and keep existing configuration files.
Validation: This build compiled against the supplied Valheim/BepInEx assemblies with no warnings or errors, and passed 82 isolated boss-handler regression assertions. Live Valheim and multiplayer gameplay have not been tested for this build. Test on a non-production world before public rollout.
Settings, message wording, other features, and the existing duplicate suppression and eight-second same-boss cooldown are unchanged.
For manual installation, copy plugins/RustyHeathensMessenger/RustyHeathensMessenger.dll from this ZIP into BepInEx/plugins/RustyHeathensMessenger/. With Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman, install/update through the manager.
