AegisDome empowers you to create custom-shaped magical safe zones that protect your settlements from the darkness of Valheim!

Build an ancient Runestone, open your map, draw an arbitrary protective contour with clicks, and fuel it with high-tier monster trophies. Enemies attempting to enter are instantly dissolved into soul fuel, and raids cannot start within your borders.

✨ How It Works (Made Simple)

• Craft & Place the Runestone: Found in the Hammer build menu (Misc tab). Requires Stone, Silver, Dragon Tear, Thunderstone, and Cultist/Goblin Shaman trophies. (Cannot be constructed in Mistlands, Ashlands, or Deep North).
• Draw Your Border: Interact with the runestone to open the map editor. Click the [Pencil] icon, plot your polygon vertices across the landscape, and click the starting point to seal and activate the dome.
• Feed the Magic: Offer trophies from the Swamp tier or higher (press hotbar numbers 1–8 on the stone). Weak trophies (Meadows/Black Forest) are rejected.
• Lethal Perimeter: Any ordinary hostile monster entering your zone is banished instantly without leaving corpse clutter, feeding 1800 seconds of life directly into the runestone.
• Boss Invasion Warning: World bosses cannot be vaporized! If a boss invades an active dome, it absorbs the dome's power—instantly depleting its fuel to zero and healing the boss.

💻 Console Commands

Press F5 in-game:

• AegisDome nocost near <true|false> — Toggle infinite fuel (∞) on the nearest runestone.
• AegisDome nocost all <true|false> — Toggle infinite fuel (∞) on all world runestones.
• AegisDome visualEffect <true|false> — Toggle in-world boundary ribbons and particles.

📥 Installation

Using a Mod Manager (Recommended)

1. Install r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager.
2. Search for AegisDome by Skarif.
3. Click Download with Dependencies (requires Jötunn) and launch the game!

Manual Install

1. Ensure both BepInExPack Valheim and Jötunn (JVL) are installed.
2. Download the release archive and extract the AegisDome folder into:

Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/.

1. Launch the game and carve out your sacred sanctuary!
