About MJNetworkCore

From Thunderstore

Shared event-driven player-built workbench network, storage, reserve, ItemDrawer and opt-in obliterator core.

MJ Network Core 0.1.18

Framework component for the MJ Valheim Network Suite, for Valheim 1.0.21. This mod provides the shared network topology and storage APIs used by other MJ modules.

Features

  • Persistent, event-driven workbench and storage networks across zone unload/reload.
  • Network-wide crafting station discovery for connected stations.
  • Shared storage/resource accounting and per-container reserve logic for supporting MJ modules.
  • Read-only resource provider API for statistics and decorative item displays.
  • Opt-in handling for special containers and obliterators; placed decorations are not automatically consumed.

Requirements

  • BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2360
  • MultiUserChest 0.6.2 for synchronized shared-container access.
  • Install the same MJ Network Core version on the host/dedicated server and on participating clients when using network-dependent MJ modules.

Installation

Install using a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager such as r2modman, or install the DLL into your BepInEx plugins folder manually. Do not run the old MJNetworkSuiteKomplett all-in-one package alongside individually installed MJ mods. Avoid running duplicate copies of the same MJ DLL.

Notes and limitations

  • Early version 0.1.18, originally developed and tested in a private multiplayer world. The GitHub Actions build checks compilation and packaging; it does not replace an in-game multiplayer test.
  • This is the Core framework, not the entire suite. UI, auto-storage and other optional functions live in separate MJ packages.
  • Back up important worlds before introducing or updating network mods.
  • Report reproducible bugs with your Valheim/BepInEx version and a relevant log excerpt.

Compatibility

Valheim 1.0.21, BepInEx 5.4.2360, MultiUserChest 0.6.2 are the currently used development/test baseline. Other versions are not guaranteed.
