Arcanum Ancient Roots

Roots never run dry.

Keeps Mistlands ancient roots at their full energy level. Previously depleted roots become fully available when loaded with the mod enabled. Roots retain their full-energy status and glow through the game's normal updates.

Sap extractors keep their normal production timers, storage capacity, placement requirements, and collection behavior. No configuration is required.

Installation

Requires BepInExPack Valheim.

Install the ZIP through your mod manager, or close Valheim and copy its BepInEx folder into your game folder. Launch with BepInEx enabled.

For multiplayer, install on every client and the dedicated server, if used. Valheim transfers ownership of world objects between peers; an unmodded owner can resume normal depletion. This mod does not enforce installation or synchronize configuration.

Avoid combining with mods that change ancient-root energy or regeneration.

Removal

Disable the mod or remove ArcanumAncientRoots.dll, then restart Valheim. Normal depletion and regeneration resume. Roots saved at full energy remain full until normal extraction drains them.

Validation

Confirmed working in game by the author. Offline checks also passed for depleted roots, repeated drain requests, root capacity, normal storage updates, unrelated resource roots, and removal. Multiplayer ownership transfer has not been separately verified. See VALIDATION.md for details.

Build from source

Run Build.ps1 with your Valheim path and, if necessary, explicit BepInExAssembly and HarmonyAssembly paths. A .NET SDK is required. Game and dependency assemblies are not included.
