About BattlePotion
From ThunderstoreBattle Mead: increases enemy spawn rate, spawn cap and star chance around you, scaled by biome. Multiplayer-safe; every player and the server need it.
BattlePotion
Drinking Battle Mead gives you Battle Fury, by default for 300 seconds. By default it is crafted at a Workbench for 5 Wood; the server's config sets the recipe, crafting station and duration for everyone.
While Battle Fury is active, enemies spawning in the area around you:
- spawn faster
- spawn in larger numbers
- have a higher chance to spawn with stars
How strong each effect is depends on the biome where the enemy spawns. By default the Meadows get the strongest boost (x3 frequency, chance and cap, x2 star chance), it gets weaker in later biomes, and the Ocean is unchanged.
- Multiplayer: every player and the server must have the mod, on the same major and minor version. Anyone standing in a buffed player's area gets the extra enemies too. Buffed players in the same area share one set of caps, so by default the effect does not stack;
StackBonusPerExtraPlayercan change that. Players far apart each have their own area. - Raids: not boosted by default; turn on
AffectRaidsto boost them. - Settings: in
BepInEx/config/com.robert.battlepotion.cfg, created on first launch. You can edit them in r2modman's Config editor or a text editor; restart for these edits to apply. With the separate ConfigurationManager mod (F1), admins can also change them in-game, and recipe changes apply without a restart. The server's values are synced to every client, and only admins can change them on a server. - General: master on/off switch.
- Item: recipe, crafting station, station level, buff duration (applies to meads drunk after the change).
- Spawning: hard cap per spawner, bonus per extra buffed player, extra pack size, whether raids are boosted (off by default).
- Stars: maximum level-up chance, extra star levels.
- Each biome: spawn frequency, spawn chance, max-spawned and star-chance multipliers.
- Debug: logging, local to each machine and not synced.
- Console: the
battlepotioncommand shows the buff state and the multipliers for your current biome.
