GlobalRecipes shares unlocked crafting items, recipes, pieces, and lore texts across all connected players in a world.
Features
- Synchronizes unlocked recipes and items when a player joins the server.
- Stores world discoveries on the server in a JSON file.
- Sends new discoveries from any player to all connected peers automatically.
- Consolidates notifications into one message when five or more items unlock at the same time.
- Prevents network loops with an internal synchronization guard.
Controls
Open your inventory crafting menu with Tab.
Click the Sync button next to the craft list to request a full synchronization from the server immediately.
Console Commands
Open the game console with F5. You can run these commands:
globalrecipes sync: Requests an immediate catalog update from the server.globalrecipes status: Shows the total count of known recipes, pieces, stations, and items.
Configuration
The configuration file is located at BepInEx/config/com.tyler.globalrecipes.cfg after the first game start.
EnableSyncButton: Shows or hides the manual sync button in the crafting menu (Default:true).DebounceSeconds: Delay in seconds before sending local discoveries to the server (Default:2.0).SuppressThreshold: Number of simultaneous unlocks required to replace individual popups with a single message (Default:5).
Installation
- Install BepInExPack for Valheim.
- Put
GlobalRecipes.dllinto yourBepInEx/plugins/directory on clients and dedicated servers. - Start the game.
