Lore Accurate Lightning Strike

Makes Valheim 1.0's Lightning Strike staff behave like a proper lightning thrower:

• faster projectiles;
• configurable projectile speed;
• configurable scatter, defaulting to zero;
• no random velocity;
• optional removal of the upward launch arc so bolts follow the crosshair.

The mod targets the staff's StaffThunderBlood runtime prefab and its projectile directly. It does not change damage, resource costs, attack timing, equipment, inventory, or save data.

Installation

Install with a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager, or place LoreAccurateLightningStrike.dll in Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/LoreAccurateLightningStrike/.

Requires BepInExPack for Valheim.

Configuration

After the first launch, edit:

Valheim/BepInEx/config/rook.valheim.loreaccuratelightningstrike.cfg

Important settings:

• SpeedMultiplier: projectile-speed multiplier; default 3.
• ScatterDegrees: spread in degrees; default 0.
• DisableCircularScatter: disables circular multi-projectile distribution; default true.
• RemoveLaunchArc: removes the built-in upward angle; default true.

Multiplayer

This is a client-side firing tweak. Each player who wants the altered projectile behavior should install it. It does not need to be installed on a dedicated server.

Compatibility

Built for Valheim 1.0 and the StaffThunderBlood runtime prefab. Another mod that changes the same attack or projectile setup may override or compound these values.
