One axe hit. A whole wave of falling trees.

Enable the cheat, hit a standing tree with an axe, and nearby trees fall one after another. Trees retain their normal physics, collide with their surroundings and can hurt you. The mod gradually processes this wave's settled logs into ordinary wood. Repeated hits during a wave do not start duplicate chains.

Installation with a mod manager

1. Install this package through Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman. The required BepInExPack Valheim is declared as a dependency.
2. Start Valheim using Start modded in that manager and load a single-player world.
3. Equip an axe, press F8, and hit a tree. Start with the default small preset.

If ForestWave.dll was previously installed manually, remove that old copy after backing it up before using a manager profile. Keep only one active copy of the plugin.

For manual installation, first install the listed BepInExPack dependency, then copy this archive's plugins/ForestWave/ForestWave.dll into Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/ForestWave. The configuration is generated on first launch. This Thunderstore package does not use an INSTALL.cmd script.

Already falling logs keep moving and dealing damage after F9. The cheat is disabled on startup.

Configuration

In a manager profile, use its config editor after launching the game once. The file is BepInEx/config/ru.forestwave.valheim.cfg inside the active profile. For a manual installation it is under the game directory.

• [UI] Language: Auto, Russian, or English. Auto uses Russian for a Russian game and English otherwise. F5 saves your choice.
• [Wave] Radius, Delay, MaxTrees: neighbour distance, delay and cap, up to 300 trees.
• [Wood] ProcessSettledLogs: process this wave's settled logs into resources; enabled by default.
• [Wood] CollectAfterWave: optional collection within 100 m, respecting inventory space and carry weight; disabled by default.
• [Physics] MaxMovingLogs, MinimumFPS, MaximumPauseSeconds: pause under load and stop after prolonged overload.
• [Keys]: remap shortcuts. Configuration descriptions are bilingual.

Limits and verification

Only loaded trees are affected. Natural collisions can fell extra trees beyond the mod's counter. The mod reduces load by spreading work over frames; hitch-free performance is not guaranteed. Multiplayer is unsupported. The plugin disables itself on other game versions. Felling changes your selected world just like ordinary tree cutting.

Version 3.1.0 passed compilation and automated checks, but this DLL has not yet had a new in-game test. Earlier game tests verified the base axe trigger, falling logs, wood drops, stop, collection and damage to the player. A previous large test reached 173 trees rather than the exact 200-tree target. These earlier results do not certify this release's frame rate or completion count.

To remove the mod, disable/uninstall it in your mod manager, or remove the DLL after a manual installation. Existing world changes are not undone. Source license: MIT, copyright 2026 vladosso. The loader is distributed separately by its maintainers.

Автор — vladosso. Чит для одиночной Valheim 1.0.12: один удар топором запускает последовательную рубку ближайших деревьев. Брёвна падают с обычной физикой и могут ранить персонажа. Успокоившиеся брёвна постепенно превращаются в древесину.

Установите пакет через Thunderstore Mod Manager или r2modman, затем запустите игру кнопкой Start modded в менеджере. Загрузите одиночный мир, возьмите топор, нажмите F8 и ударьте дерево. Отдельный установщик для этого архива не нужен. BepInEx указан как зависимость.

F8 — включить/выключить, F9 — остановить, F7 — масштаб 8/60/200, F5 — RU/EN, F6 — индикатор, F10 — перечитать настройки. Падающие брёвна после остановки продолжают движение.

Настройки появляются после первого запуска в BepInEx/config/ru.forestwave.valheim.cfg активного профиля менеджера. Язык выбирается параметром [UI] Language = Auto / Russian / English или F5. Автосбор древесины: [Wood] CollectAfterWave = true, по умолчанию выключен.

Работают только загруженные деревья. Естественное домино может повалить дополнительные деревья сверх счётчика. Мультиплеер не поддерживается. Версия 3.1.0 прошла сборку и автоматические проверки; новый игровой прогон этой DLL пока не выполнен.
