Inventory Tweaks 2.3.2

Inventory management, nearby deposits, crafting from chests and shared multiplayer chest access. Uses Russian when the game language is Russian; otherwise English.

Features

• Combine stacks. Combine fills compatible stacks: 45 / 25 / 50 / 20 → 50 / 50 / 40. Selected ammunition receives priority. The button also returns items to their pinned slots and moves mismatched items out of other pinned slots when space is available.
• Automatic combining. A/M selects combining after pickup (A, default) or manual combining with the button (M).
• Pin slots. Middle-click an item to pin it; click again to unpin. Pins match item type and the creator of crafted items. Durability is ignored; quality matching is optional. Empty pinned slots show a translucent item icon. The pin symbol is at the top centre; mismatched items receive a yellow exclamation mark.
• Borders and pickup rules. The square button beside A/M toggles yellow borders. Strict reserves pinned slots for matching pickups; Free allows other pickups into them. Manual placement has a separate setting.
• Pickup filter. Ctrl + middle-click drops the stack and blocks automatic pickup of its item type. Left-click a crossed-out icon to remove that filter entry. Hide filter only hides icons; filtering remains active.
• Reset and hints. Reset clears all pins and filter entries for the current character. Control hints appear when the filter is empty. Inventory controls and filter icons hide while a container is open and follow the inventory size.
• Nearby deposits. Stack similar or holding the interaction key uses the selected mode. Here deposits into the open chest. Nearby searches accessible loaded chests, nearest first, filling stacks and empty slots only in chests already containing that item type. Default radius: 50 m. Matching items in their pinned slots are protected from these bulk deposits.
• Craft and build from chests. Station and building menus provide Inventory / Chests and a radius field. Inventory uses normal gameplay; Chests includes accessible chest resources. Recipe counts and building availability reflect this choice. Mode and radius are saved per character and individual station, with separate building preferences.
• Load processors. Ingredients lets manual interactions with smelters and processors draw wood, ore, fuel and other supported inputs from chests. The toggle defaults off. There is no background loading. Food and fuel loading into cooking stations uses vanilla gameplay; crafting food recipes from chests remains available.
• Shared access. Multiple players can use the same chest simultaneously. Access permissions and wards still apply. Enabled by default, with an independent switch.
• Saved preferences. Pins, filters and personal settings are separate for each character. The mod does not force a world or character save after every action.
• Compatibility notice. Shown at the main menu. Don't show again applies to the acknowledged version; changing the version number shows it again. Rebuilding with the same number does not. Upgrading from an older release without a recorded acknowledgment shows the notice again so the preference can be confirmed.

Installation

Install BepInEx and put InventoryTweaks.dll in BepInEx/plugins/InventoryTweaks, or use a mod manager. Network features require the same version on every client and the server.

Disable mods providing overlapping features. Disable standalone MultiUserChest to use built-in shared access: the built-in feature stands down when that mod is detected. Jotunn is not required.

Configuration

File: BepInEx/config/com.xtasy.InventoryTweaks.cfg. Changes apply without restarting. Close chest windows before changing shared access. Saved character and station preferences can override initial settings.

Search covers loaded, accessible chests. Recovery of unfinished network operations after a crash depends on normal saves; independently rolling back the world and character can leave them inconsistent.
