About Auto Eat
From mod.ioAutomatically eats cooked food when your hunger drops below 50% (configurable).
Auto Eat
AutoEat automatically eats cooked food the moment your hunger drops. It scans your hotbar, backpack, and pouches from left to right, keeping you fed without distraction.
Works on Core Keeper 1.3+, multiplayer and dedicated servers.
FEATURES
AutoEat keeps an eye on your hunger and eats cooked food for you the moment it drops below your chosen threshold. No more fumbling through your backpack mid fight, just set it and forget it.
By default it keeps you comfortably above 50% hunger. If you want to stretch your supplies or wait for a bigger meal, use autoeat/hunger to change the trigger point anywhere between 1 and 100. You can also turn the whole system on or off on the fly with autoeat/off and autoeat/on.
It scans your inventory in the order you'd search yourself: hotbar first, then your main backpack, and finally every pouch you carry, even extra ones added by other mods. Only cooked meals are eaten, so your raw ingredients stay exactly where you left them, ready for the cooking pot. When a food is consumed, a short cooldown pulse appears on the slot, just like when you eat manually, so you always know something happened.
COMMANDS (Ctrl + X)
- autoeat/hunger [1-100]
- autoeat/on
- autoeat/off
HOW IT WORKS
- AutoEat is active from the moment you load your world, keeping your hunger above 50% by default.
- When your hunger drops to that level, it automatically eats the first cooked food it finds, scanning from left to right through your hotbar, then your main backpack, and finally every pouch you carry (even extra ones from other mods).
- A brief cooldown pulse appears on the slot, just like when you eat manually, so you always see it working.
- If you want to change the hunger threshold, open the console with Ctrl + X and type autoeat/hunger followed by a number between 1 and 100 (for example, autoeat/hunger 30).
- To pause the mod, type autoeat/off; to resume it, type autoeat/on.
- Only fully cooked meals are eaten. Your raw ingredients stay safe, exactly where you left them.
