About Direct Connect Domain Lookup
From mod.ioClient-side direct-connect DNS fix. Connect to dedicated servers using domain names, with IPv4 preferred and IPv6 fallback.
Direct Connect Domain Lookup fixes Core Keeper’s direct dedicated-server connection flow so domain names work properly.
The vanilla client already attempts DNS lookup, but it rewrites domain names by prepending www., which breaks domains like corekeeper.example.com. This mod disables that rewrite and improves address selection by preferring IPv4 when available, then falling back to IPv6 if no IPv4 record exists.
