Drill Faster

DRILL FASTER 

This mod makes drills break ore boulders way faster. Default is 11x, but you can set anything from 0.1x up to 2000x.

WORKS ON CORE KEEPER 1.2.1+, DEDICATED SERVERS (11X DEFAULT), AND MULTIPLAYER.

Requires CoreLib Mod.

FEATURES

Waiting 15 hours with 8 drills, or 22 hours with 8 crude ones, for a ore boulder to finally break? Nah, that's way too long. So I made this to move things along.

Change the speed anytime in-game: /drillspeed 11 (local or multiplayer host only).

If you just want it faster without ruining the balance, go with 5x or 11x. If you don't care and want instant results, crank it to the max. You can also slow things down with something like 0.5x if you're trying to balance your setup.

Set it once and it saves automatically. Only affects ore boulders, nothing else.

CHAT COMMANDS (REQUIRES CORELIB)

COMMANDS ARE NOT USED IN THE CONSOLE, THEY ARE USED IN THE CHAT

• /help drillspeed - help command
• /drillspeed 0.5 -  slows drills to half speed
• /drillspeed 5 - sets drill speed to 5x
• /drillspeed 11 - the default, around 2 hours per boulder with 8 drills
• /drillspeed 0.1 - minimum speed
• /drillspeed 2000 - maximum speed

HOW IT WORKS

• Find an ore boulder
• Place crude drills or drills, furnace, conveyor belts, and whatever else you need
• Put some energy into it
• Activate the command you want or leave it at the default setting of 11x
• Collect all the collected ore at maximum speed
