About FishChestMod

Automatic Fishing Chest adds a new craftable chest designed for automated fishing.
Crafting
The Automatic Fishing Chest can be crafted at the Fishing Workbench using:
- 10 Galaxite Bars
- 10 Coral Wood Planks
How to Use
1. Craft and place an Automatic Fishing Chest near water.
2. Open the chest with the interaction key.
3. Place a fishing rod in the upper equipment slot on the right.
4. Place bait in the lower equipment slot.
5. The chest will search for water within 5 tiles and automatically catch an item every 10 seconds.
Features
- 18 regular storage slots arranged in a 6 × 3 layout
- 1 protected fishing rod slot
- 1 protected bait slot
- Automatically catches fish and other rewards from the local fishing loot table
- Uses the biome and water type near the chest
- Bait is not consumed
- Fishing rod durability is not consumed
- Equipment slots are protected from robot arm extraction
- Regular storage slots can still be used with automation
- When storage is full, caught items are dropped beside the chest
- Records elapsed time and processes missed fishing attempts when the chest becomes active again
- Supports different bait effects for fish chance, fishing loot chance, and rarity
Important
The chest requires both a fishing rod and bait to operate. It must also be placed within 5 tiles of valid water.
