About Minecart Turbo

From mod.io

Three craftable Turbo Minecarts at the Railway Forge: 2x, 3x and 4x top speed, costing 2x, 3x and 4x the materials.

MINECART TURBO adds three faster minecarts to the Railway Forge. Each tier multiplies the normal Minecart's top speed - and its crafting cost - by the same number.

<table><tr><th>Item</th><th>Top speed</th><th>Recipe (Railway Forge)</th></tr> <tr><td>Turbo Minecart (2x)</td><td>2x</td><td>20 Iron Bar, 12 Tin Bar</td></tr> <tr><td>Turbo Minecart (3x)</td><td>3x</td><td>30 Iron Bar, 18 Tin Bar</td></tr> <tr><td>Turbo Minecart (4x)</td><td>4x</td><td>40 Iron Bar, 24 Tin Bar</td></tr></table>

Acceleration and braking are unchanged, so a faster cart takes longer to reach top speed and longer to stop - brake early on the 4x.

Multiplayer: must be installed on the server (host) and on every client - minecart movement is predicted client-side, so both sides need the same cart data. Dedicated servers: add minecartturbo to the mods list. No CoreLib needed, no other dependencies. Works on Core Keeper 1.3.0 (1.3.0.6 tested); 1.1.0 was the last build for 1.2.1.5.

How it works: at boot the mod clones the game's own Minecart definition three times, scales maxSpeed and the recipe, registers the clones through the official mod API and appends them to the Railway Forge's recipe list. The carts look like the normal Minecart; the item name colour (Rare / Epic / Legendary) marks the tier.
