Quick Replace lets you swap floors and walls for others in your inventory, or fill gaps with ground, without needing to mine first. A small indicator shows your current mode.

WORKS ON CORE KEEPER 1.2.1+, MULTIPLAYER AND DEDICATED SERVER.

FEATURES

Quick Replace gives your shovel three modes: Normal digging, Replace to swap floors and ground for blocks from your inventory without mining, and Add to place ground, lit floors, regular floors, or rugs straight from your inventory. It scans your inventory left to right, top to bottom, prioritizing blocks, then floors, then rugs. A clean notification shows your current mode with an icon, and you can also switch via chat command.

Wall replacement is handled manually: hold a wall block and use the placement tool to swap walls instantly, without needing a pickaxe.

ℹ️ You need to have blocks, floor tiles, or rugs in your inventory. They are detected from left to right, then from top to bottom.

HOTKEYS (CONFIGURABLE IN SETTINGS → CONTROLS → MODS)

• X (or your bound key) cycles through Normal, Replace and Add shovel modes.

HOW IT WORKS

• Press your bound key (DEFAULT X) to cycle through three shovel modes: Normal, Replace, and Add.
• In Replace mode, floors and ground are instantly swapped with blocks from your inventory, no mining required.
• In Add mode, ground, lit floors, regular floors, or rugs are placed directly from your inventory, filling empty spaces or covering existing ground.
• To swap walls, switch to Replace mode, then hold a wall block and use it directly.
• A small icon and text popup confirms your current mode, and your last used mode stays active when you reload the world.
