Scanner Rune Marks
Scanner Rune Marks places saved rune markers for boss scanner reveals, and for boss spots you find yourself, and gives F7 a boss menu for finding and marking known boss spots.
How to use
- Use a boss scanner and wait a few seconds for a rune.
- You do not need a scanner. Walk to a boss arena yourself and its summoning statue, spawn point or summoning pad is marked with a rune too, just for being there.
- Press F7 to open the boss menu.
- Mark, remove, or search boss locations from the menu.
- Something wrong? Press Debug in that menu - it copies a report to your clipboard, ready to paste into a bug report.
Options
- Key that opens the boss menu - opens the boss list, or disables it with None. Default: F7.
Everything else is set for you: runes are stamped automatically and use rune symbol 4. Both can still be changed in the mod's config.json if you want to. There are five symbols to choose from.
Known issues
These are known and not planned to be fixed.
- Remove sometimes does nothing. The mod finds a mark by where it sits, not by what it is, so if a mark has moved or its icon has changed since it was placed, Remove can fail to find it. Press Remove again - the second attempt searches wider and usually gets it. Otherwise delete the marker by hand on the map.
- Roaming bosses are marked where they were, not where they are. Bosses that move around the world, such as the sea boss, get a mark at the spot they were found. The mark does not follow them. Removing it still works.
