🚗 Automatic Car Cover System (Addon for CarCover Mod) ONLY BENEFICIAL FOR SERVERS THAT DO NOT SPAWN CARS THROUGH EVENTS

This mod automatically covers vehicles with a camo net after they have been idle for 10 minutes. Perfect for server owners who want to encourage players to protect their vehicles and help reduce clutter on the map.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This mod requires the CarCover mod to function!

🔑 How it works: • If a vehicle is parked and no one is inside (engine off, empty seats), the system starts tracking its idle time. • After the idle timer runs out, the vehicle is replaced by a camo net that holds all its parts and inventory. • When the player comes back, they can unpack the vehicle like normal, with all attachments restored.

⚙️ Compatibility: ✅ Works out-of-the-box with vanilla DayZ vehicles (Olga, Gunter, ADA, etc.). ⚙️ Modded vehicles require custom camo net support — see below.

🚨 Modded Vehicle Support: Modded vehicles (e.g., Humvees, Candy Raptor, custom cars) require special camo nets and config entries to work!

To add support for modded cars: 1. Create a camo net model that fits the vehicle. 2. Add a class in config.cpp extending CarCoverBase. 3. Map the vehicle type to the camo net via GetCoverName() override. 4. Example support for a custom car can be added easily — feel free to reach out for help!
