Base Building Plus for DayZ 1.30

Three addons that let Base Building Plus load on DayZ 1.30 and add the vanilla digital code lock to its doors.

You still need the original Base Building Plus mod. Load that, then these three, on the server and on every player.

Do not put these files inside the original Base Building Plus folder.

BBP_RPC_Scripts

Base Building Plus requires an addon named RPC_Scripts before it will load. This pbo provides that addon.

It adds no items, no building pieces, and no gameplay. Without it, the server stops on a missing-addon error. It is also kept separate so Base Building Plus and the 1.30 patch do not depend on each other in a circle.

BBP_130_Scripts

DayZ 1.30 changed the script language and the combination-lock unlock function. This pbo updates the Base Building Plus scripts that hit those changes.

• Combination locks unlock with the current DayZ function.
• Building, hologram placement, part building, raiding, and dismantling use the current script syntax.
• Cement mixer locations from BBP_Settings.json still spawn.

This is the gameplay patch.

[h2]Vanilla digital code lock[/h2]

The DayZ digital code lock attaches to a finished, closed Base Building Plus door.

It uses the combination-lock spot, so a door holds one lock: either the digital code lock or a combination lock.

Put a 9V battery in the lock, look at the lock, and set the code. A locked door stays shut until the code is entered.

The combination-lock dial does not appear on a digital code lock. Combination locks still use the dial.

Windows do not take this lock.

Older Base Building Plus calls the previous unlock function. This patch provides that call and passes it to the DayZ 1.30 function, so combination locks on BBP still open.

[h2]Optional vanilla build block[/h2]

Server owners can turn off vanilla building without removing the items from the game. The file is created on first start:

• DisableVanillaBuilding — off by default. When on, players cannot place or build the vanilla fence, watchtower, shelter, and territory flag, and they cannot craft the fence kit or watchtower kit.
• DisableBadlandsVanillaBuilding — off by default. When on, the same block applies to the class names you add under BadlandsClassNames.

Both options start disabled, so a normal server changes nothing until you edit that file and restart.
