DayZ Speed Cameras
Are you also annoyed by players who drive across the map at far too high speed and thereby endanger players?
Those days are now over, because from now on there are speed cameras in DayZ!
There are a total of 5 different speed cameras, each of which is triggered when a defined speed limit is exceeded (plus a small tolerance).
[list]
[*]ToFu_SpeedCamera20 = 20 km/h
[*]ToFu_SpeedCamera30 = 30 km/h
[*]ToFu_SpeedCamera50 = 50 km/h
[*]ToFu_SpeedCamera70 = 70 km/h
[*]ToFu_SpeedCamera100 = 100 km/h

The cameras can be placed automatically via a JSON file when the server is restarted. In addition, you have the option of setting up cameras yourself as an admin if you are listed in the config. The cameras cannot be removed by normal players. The speed cameras should be placed at the side of the road and directed towards the approaching vehicle. Vehicles will be detected at a default distance of 20 m.
So that players also know how fast you can drive, this mod includes signs with different speed limits. Fixed signs that should always be in the same place can be placed on the map with a tool of your choice (VPP Admin Tools, DayZ Editor, init.c, ...). For dynamic events with a random number of speed cameras from a list, one sign per speed camera can also be spawned from the configuration file. More details can be found in the documentation folder.
What happens if you are caught in a speed camera?
All vehicle occupants are blinded, the engine switches off and the fuel tank is emptied by default (can be set in config). In addition, 5 random police zombies spawn near the vehicle (number and type can be set in the config). If you do not have a No-Car-Damage Mod installed, think carefully about where you place the speed cameras.
When you use the mod for the first time, the configuration files are automatically created in the profiles/Speedcams directory. The example configuration spawns two 30 km/h limit cameras at Green Mountain together with two signs. By default those speed cams will only blind the players, leak fuel and do not spawn zombies. You can adjust the config to your wishes.
Types, classes and documentation are included with the mod.
