Furniture Kits [ROGUEZXC EDIT]

Introduction

Hey everyone! I originally planned to use this mod on my own servers, but then thought, why not share it with you? This is a modified version of Furniture Kits[1.0], which I initially adapted for my PvP server. The original author released the source code and allowed the mod to be modified and redistributed (under its license), making this version possible. Huge thanks to you, Morette! Over time, this has grown beyond bug fixes and balance changes to include a functional refrigerator, improved stove cooking and other additions.

Changes and Features

• A smaller download size compared to the original mod.
• The workbench, toolbox, blueprints and garage shelving unit have been removed.
• Furniture assembly kits can no longer be crafted. Players will need to find them in the world (a balanced Types.xml file is provided to help server admins get started).
• Furniture can be dismantled using a screwdriver. Empty its inventory and remove all attachments first.
• All furniture has 500 health.
• The main cargo storage of weapon walls, weapon cabinets, the medical cabinet and refrigerator accepts any items that fit. Dedicated slots for weapons and other attachments retain their intended purpose.
• Added missing opening and closing sounds and doubled the speed of the animations.
• Translated the mod into all languages supported by the game, including English.
• Fixed furniture placement and missing holograms after the 1.30 patch.
• Fixed issues with cabinets opening and closing, incorrect interaction prompts and inventory access.
• Retained the fixes for digging garden plots and slot compatibility with other mods.
• The original fix for doors after the 1.27 patch was made by Xrenosin. Thanks for the help!

Gas Stove

• Cook on all four burners at once, with a separate cooking process for each pot or pan.
• Burners make a running sound, water boils in pots and food sizzles in pans. Steam effects appear at the cookware itself.
• Fixed burner sounds cutting out after a while. Sounds and effects stop when cookware is removed, the stove is switched off or the gas runs out.
• Removed the broken flame effect that could remain visible even when the stove was off or had no gas.
• While cooking, the stove warms nearby players at approximately 75% of a campfire's warming strength.
• The stove accepts the custom large gas canister as well as vanilla small, medium and large gas canisters. You can attach a canister directly by holding it and aiming at the stove.
• Rebalanced gas consumption. Vanilla canisters run out sooner, while the custom large canister lasts twice as long as before without increasing its full weight.

Functional Refrigerator

It's no longer just a cupboard for your food!

• The refrigerator uses the vanilla electrical system. Connect it to a generator using cables and compatible power equipment.
• With a working power supply, food spoils 90% more slowly.
• Without electricity, food still spoils 25% more slowly.
• Stored items are kept cool even without power, including items inside nested containers.
• The refrigerator accepts more than just food. You can store any items that fit.

This content is released under the ADPL-SA license. You may use, repack, modify and redistribute this mod and its derivatives, provided you comply with the license:

• The mod's materials may not be used for commercial purposes.
• You must retain author credits, license notices and links to the original materials. If you make changes, indicate that you have done so.
• Derivative versions must be distributed under the same license or a compatible license permitted by ADPL-SA. You may not impose additional restrictions that deny others the rights granted by the license.
• The materials may only be converted or adapted for use in DayZ and Arma.

You don't need to ask me separately for permission to repack the mod as long as you comply with the license. Still, letting me know would be a thoughtful gesture, and I'd appreciate it ^-^ I'd also appreciate a thumbs-up and a favorite if you've found the mod useful. That's a personal request, not an additional license requirement. If you're using the mod without changes, I recommend adding it to your collection rather than repacking it. You'll receive updates and fixes automatically, players won't have to download multiple copies of the same furniture, and I'll be able to see how many people are using it. Plus, it makes me happy!

Final Thoughts

There aren't that many good, free furniture mods out there, so I'd like to keep improving this version and adding new things when I can.
