Millz Smuggler’s Cargo

Find the radio. Make the delivery. Call the drop.

Turn a stolen radio into a server-wide hunt. Search for the transmitter, carry it on foot to a private delivery location, and keep it intact while the call-in counts down. Complete the call-in and a supply crate descends nearby—but once it lands, anyone can claim the loot.

⚠ In Development — Early Access

This mod is actively being developed. Expect bugs, unfinished visuals and changes between updates. Recent features and integrations are still undergoing testing.

Test on a development server before adding it to your live server, and back up your configuration and event data before updating.

How the Event Works

  • A radio spawns at one of the server owner’s configured locations.
  • Periodic broadcasts reveal an approximate search area, creating a hunt for the radio.
  • Pick it up to receive private delivery instructions. With a supported marker integration, the carrier receives a private map and 3D destination marker.
  • Carry the radio on foot. Vehicle transport is restricted.
  • Reach the delivery area and place the radio to begin the call-in.
  • The placed radio stays locked in position. Destroying it cancels the call-in.
  • When an airdrop-enabled call-in completes, a supply crate arrives nearby.
  • Once the crate lands, anyone can loot it. Finding the radio does not guarantee you’ll leave with the supplies!

Features

  • Multiple configurable events, each with its own radio spawn pool, delivery location and loot.
  • Approximate search areas with configurable broadcast intervals and radius.
  • Carrier-only delivery directions.
  • Configurable call-in countdowns, event time limits and cooldowns.
  • Aircraft flyover and parachute supply-drop presentation.
  • Fixed loot bundles or weighted loot tiers.
  • Optional loot attachments, item health, magazine ammunition and stack quantities.
  • Public access to landed crates.
  • Server-controlled event tracking, reward safeguards and cleanup.

Optional Map Integrations

LB Master Advanced Groups Supports public search circles and a private delivery marker for the current radio carrier.

DayZ Expansion Navigation Includes an optional adapter for search markers, search circles and private delivery markers. Expansion Navigation is required for this interface; Expansion Groups alone is not enough.

Expansion support is new and still needs broader in-game testing. If both marker systems are installed, LB takes priority. Marker visibility can depend on the server’s and player’s display settings.

Neither integration is required for the core event system. Text notifications provide event information without them.

For Server Owners

The mod includes a simplified JSON configuration, setup guidance and two starter event examples with three radio positions each.

Example coordinates are placeholders. Replace them with suitable positions for your terrain before enabling events.

Choose a fixed loot bundle or build Common, Rare and Jackpot tiers with your own relative weights. Installed modded item classnames can be used, provided their attachments and item settings are compatible.

Install the matching mod version on both the server and clients. Existing events retain their saved rules, so configuration changes should be tested with a newly started event.

Development Status

Aircraft animation/audio, crate presentation and general polish remain works in progress. Restart recovery, multiplayer marker behavior and newer loot options need continued testing across different server setups.

Please report issues with:

  • Your mod version and map.
  • What happened and what you expected.
  • Relevant hosted-server script or crash logs.
  • Steps to reproduce the issue.
