Welcome to Raptor Island, a custom DayZ server built on the Stuart Island map by Kerkkoh, set in a remote part of the United States and enhanced with the Raptor Island mod. Staying true to the original map lore, this small but intense environment delivers a brutal survival experience where danger comes from both players and the wild—especially the raptors that roam the island. After long and grueling adventures, fighting both dinosaurs and other survivors, some have managed to push far enough to uncover hidden secrets, including the offshore oil rig and a mysterious vault. Others have discovered strange gas zones concealing pathways and locked doors, suggesting deeper mechanics like rare keycards waiting to be used. Survival here is unforgiving, with scarce food, frequent illness, and constant threats around every corner, making every decision matter. Many players find themselves dying not just from combat, but from starvation or sickness, adding to the raw and authentic challenge. The map’s smaller size keeps encounters frequent, creating a high-energy experience filled with PvP, unpredictable fights, and moments like being ambushed by raptors at the quarry or desperately gearing up in Town A before heading north again.
