🎮 What Is Survival Tweaks?

Survival Tweaks gives server admins granular control over every survival mechanic in DayZ — hunger, thirst, stamina, health, bleeding, damage, temperature, diseases, clothing/tent durability, sounds, and screen effects.

Precise control with 59+ and counting configurable settings and a built-in in-game admin panel.

In-Game Admin Panel

• Press INSERT to open the admin GUI (admin Steam64 UIDs required)
• Yellow sliders for all numeric values — drag or type exact numbers
• Checkboxes for toggle settings
• Setting descriptions — hover any setting to see what it does and its config key name
• Save button — applies changes instantly, no restart needed
• Defaults button — one-click revert to vanilla values
• Green highlight — shows which setting is selected
• Day/Night Calculator — Enter your desired daytime and nighttime duration in
• real-time minutes and the panel calculates the exact
• serverTimeAcceleration and serverNightTimeAcceleration
• values for your serverDZ.cfg. No more guesswork.

24 Multiplier Settings

• 🍖 Energy Drain — Food drain speed (0 = no drain, 2 = double)
• 💀 Starvation Damage — Health loss when starving
• 🍎 Food Gain — Energy gained from eating
• 💧 Water Drain — Thirst drain speed
• 💀 Dehydration Damage — Health loss when dehydrated
• 🥤 Water Gain — Water gained from drinking
• ⚡ Stamina Drain — Sprint/jump/melee depletion (0 = unlimited)
• ⚡ Stamina Recovery — Recovery speed when resting
• ⚡ Max Stamina — Multiplier for total stamina pool size
• 🩸 Blood Regen — Blood regeneration speed
• ❤️ Health Regen — Health regen across all body zones
• 💫 Shock Recovery — Recovery from knockouts
• 🩹 Bleeding Rate — Blood loss from open wounds
• 🦴 Fall Damage — Fall damage severity (0 = no fall damage)
• ⚔️ PvP Damage — Player-vs-player damage. Set to 0 and hits are blocked outright — no death, bleed, or broken legs slip through
• 🧟 PvE Damage — Zombie/animal/environment damage to players, same 0 = fully blocked behavior
• 👟 Shoe Damage — Shoe degradation per step (0 = never degrade)
• 🔨 Item Durability — Item damage from impacts
• 🚗 Vehicle Damage — Vehicle damage from impacts
• 🌡️ Temperature Loss — All temperature-related drain and damage
• 🏥 Spawn Energy/Water — Starting food/water on new spawns (up to 30x)
• ⏱️ Unconscious Limit — Max seconds unconscious (0–300)
• 🌞 Day Length — Day/Night Calculator input (minutes)

• ⚡ Unlimited Sprint Only — Infinite stamina while sprinting, everything else costs normally
• 🚗 Disable Car Damage (Players) — Prevent shooting/melee damage to vehicles, crash damage still applies
• 🚗 Disable Vehicle Crash Sounds — Mutes crash impact sounds independently of vehicle damage
• 🏕️ Disable Tent/Storage Damage — Tents, barrels, and crates take no damage
• 🧤 Disable Glove Damage
• 🎒 Disable Bag Damage
• 🧥 Disable Top Damage — Jackets, vests, shirts
• 👖 Disable Bottom Damage — Pants
• ☀️ Disable Sun Glare — Removes sun glare and god rays
• 🌦️ Disable Rain Effect — Removes rain screen effects (rain weather still occurs)
• 🦷 Disable Chattering Teeth — Mutes the cold teeth-chatter sound
• 🤒 Disable Symptom Sounds — Cough, sneeze, laugh, gasp
• 😖 Disable Pain Sounds — Pain grunts from taking damage
• 😮‍💨 Disable Exhaustion Sounds — Heavy breathing from sprinting/exertion
• 😮‍💨 Disable Exhaustion Audio Filter — The low-pass audio filter at low stamina
• 🥵 Disable Thirst Sound
• 🌡️ Disable Temperature Sounds — Freezing/overheating cues
• 💥 Disable Hit Reaction Effect — Screen blur/flash when hit
• 🤒 Disable Fever Effect — Screen blur from running a fever
• 👁️ Disable Hallucination Effect — Double-vision from advanced disease
• 💡 Disable Flashbang Effect — Blinding whiteout from flashbangs/explosions
