Tent Actions Fix - 1.29 Road To Buglands Hotfix

Temporary hotfix for missing tent interaction actions after DayZ 1.29.163451

This mod restores missing UI actions on tents, including:

• packing tents
• opening and closing tent flaps

The issue appears to be caused by a change in the vanilla ActionTargets class, where some model proxies with invalid/NOID object IDs are no longer accepted as valid action targets.

I do not recommend repacking this mod!

This is intended as a temporary compatibility fix. Bohemia Interactive changed this class for a reason, most likely related to upcoming systems/content expected to come with Badlands, so the proper vanilla behavior may still change in a future update. If BI deploys a fix or adjust it, this mod may become unnecessary or may need to be updated.

The script includes a small whitelist of parent base classes affected by this issue. Currently it targets tents, but the list can be easily extended if other objects are found to have the same missing-action problem.

Additional QoL tweaks included

• Tent packing interaction available from the whole tent surface - credits to Gert-Jan_Oss
• As of THIS game version, it works only on the flaps, but that can be used to counter people abusing packing mechanic to their advantage
