Tired of surviving Chernarus alone?

Companion Wolf Pack brings loyal, fully controllable AI wolf companions to DayZ.

Build your own pack, command them to follow you, hold their ground, attack threats, or defend a location. Your wolves can fight infected, hunt animals, defend their owner, navigate using the world navmesh, rest beside you, and even sleep while waiting for your next command.

Your pack isn't just another AI enemy.

They're your companions.

⭐ KEY FEATURES

• 🐺 AI Wolf Companions: Automatically spawn a configurable pack of wolves when you join the server.
• 👥 Up to 12 Wolves: Configure the size of your personal pack through the server settings.
• 🎮 Four Command Modes: Follow, Stay, Attack and Guard.
• 🧟 Infected Combat: Wolves can aggressively hunt and kill nearby infected.
• 🐗 Animal Hunting: Configure your wolves to attack animals and wild wolves.
• 🛡️ Guard Mode: Set a guard position and command your pack to defend the area.
• 📍 Guard Positions: Save a location with wolfpack guard set and return your wolves to that defensive position.
• 📣 Whistle Recall: Press Numpad + or = to recall your entire pack.
• 🏃 Smart Recall: Configure the whistle to either teleport wolves back to you or have them physically run back using navmesh pathfinding.
• 🧭 Navmesh Pathfinding: Wolves can use DayZ's AI navigation system to move around terrain and obstacles.
• 💤 Rest & Sleep: When not fighting, wolves can settle down, lie down and sleep while waiting for their owner.
• ❤️ Configurable Health: Server owners can configure companion wolf health.
• ♻️ Automatic Respawning: Configure the pack to automatically respawn after the entire pack has been killed.
• ☠️ Pack Kill Counter: Track how many targets your pack has killed using the status command.
• 🔒 Player Ownership: Wolves are assigned to their owner's unique player identity and will not attack their master.
• ⚙️ Server Configurable: Pack size, health, follow distance, attack range, teleport distance, target types, respawn delay, whistle behaviour and more can be configured.
• 🔊 Custom Whistle Sound: Includes a dedicated whistle sound for recalling your pack.
• 🌐 Multiplayer Synced: Commands and pack behaviour are handled server-side for reliable multiplayer control.

📣 WHISTLE RECALL

Need your wolves back quickly?

Press:

Numpad +

The whistle recalls your entire pack and switches them back to FOLLOW mode.

Server owners can configure whether wolves:

• Teleport back to the player
• Run back to the player using navmesh pathfinding

🛡️ GUARD MODE

Want your wolves to protect your base or an important location?

Stand where you want your guard position and use:

wolfpack guard set
wolfpack guard

Your wolves will move into defensive positions around the saved location and defend the area from nearby threats.

💤 COMPANION BEHAVIOUR

Your wolves aren't constantly running around.

When there are no threats, companions can:

• Stay near their owner
• Spread themselves out instead of stacking together
• Lie down
• Sleep after resting
• Wake up and defend their owner when infected approach

The result is a pack that behaves more naturally while travelling and resting.

⚙️ SERVER CONFIGURATION

The mod automatically creates:

Server owners can configure settings such as:

• Pack size
• Wolf health
• Follow distance
• Teleport distance
• Attack radius
• Attack engagement distance
• Stay/guard spacing
• Spawn delay
• Respawn delay
• Infected targeting
• Animal targeting
• Wild wolf targeting
• Player targeting
• Navmesh pathfinding
• Whistle recall behaviour
• Rest and sleep timing
• Chat command prefix

No source-code editing is required for normal configuration.

🛠️ INSTALLATION
