Zombie Burning Flamethrower

⚠️ V2 Update Notice

With the new V2 update, players can now catch on fire from nearby burning infected if this feature is enabled.

Server owners should delete or update their old Zombie_Burn_Settings.json so the new values generate correctly.

If you do not want players to be ignited by burning AI, you can disable it in the mod’s Zombie_Burn_Settings.json file after it generates in your server profile folder.

Look for the player ignition setting and turn it off:

"EnablePlayerIgniteFromNearbyBurningAI": 0

Setting it to 0 disables player ignition from nearby burning AI. Setting it to 1 enables it.

🔥The Vulcan XS Flamethrower 🔥

Infected/Animal/Player Burning Overhaul

So… you’re really planning on taking on the hordes up close, huh? Brave. Or stupid. Either way, you’re gonna want one of these monsters — the XS Flamethrower. This ain’t some cheap blowtorch taped to a pipe. This thing spews burning fuel like a dragon with a bad attitude. Pull the trigger, and anything in front of you turns into a screaming, stumbling fireball. It’s loud, it’s messy, and it’ll light up the night like a bonfire.

Dead bodies? Hit ’em again and watch them ignite, smolder, and burn away — or grab a lighter and burn them manually for the same effect. Burning corpses now have a cleanup sequence with ash piles, smoke FX, delayed body removal, and automatic ash cleanup, so your server doesn’t melt faster than the zombies you're spawning.

The system also includes several configurable survival features:

• Burning infected can spread fire to nearby infected
• Players can be ignited by nearby burning AI, if enabled
• Rain can block ignition
• Rain can extinguish burning targets
• Wet clothing can help prevent player ignition
• Players can use an action to put themselves out
• Dead infected can burn down into ash and smoke
• Ash piles and smoke automatically clean themselves up
• Flamethrower tanks can be refilled at Gas Stations or with gasoline-filled containers

Fire spreads, the night turns orange and if you’re careful with your tank, you can keep that inferno roaring long enough to clear an entire block.

XML included in the root folder.

Server config included. Server owners can enable or disable most of the burn, rain, wetness, ignition, ash, smoke, and cleanup features.

Yes, you may repack. But this will be the most up-to-date version. This mod CAN be reuploaded or modified without explicit permission. But you will need to update your version when this one updates to get fixes and more skins for free!
