EcoAtlas.dev - A Map Browser and Viewer

Welcome to EcoAtlas.dev!

This tool was developed to make the process of finding suitable eco maps for a cycle more convenient. Never again, do you have to use the map preview tool in the Server GUI! 

Features

• Infinity Scrolling Map Gallery
• Map filter (only size supported, more coming)
• Custom WorldGenerator.eco configs (see below)
• Supported map sizes in km²: 0.52, 1, 1.96, 2.56, 2.96,  4 
• Detail page, with paning, zooming + biome legend / mouse over
• Download of the WorldGenerator.eco, which generates that map
• Social Integration - post a map in discord and you see the preview right in the channel!
• Fully automated backend map generation, all maps are generated on the server in advance

How it works

1. Open EcoAtlas.dev
2. Adjust the map-size filter to you preference
   1. Optional: Select the WorldGenerator preset for the map. You don't need to do this, but this heavily influences the maps you will see.
3. Scroll until you find a good map, click it to open the detail view.
4. Press "Download WorldGenerator.eco" and place the File in your configs folder.
5. Now you only have to remove your old map, by deleting "Storage/Game.db" and "Storage/Game.eco".
6. Start your Server and you should see the same map after joining!

Custom Configs

The way maps are generated, is directly influenced by the WorldGenerator.eco in your Configs folder. A lot of server have a modified version of that file, to change the generation to their liking. To support those server aswell, EcoAtlas supports custom server configs! If you want your config on the site, just message me on Discord.
