English

EcoMarketApi is a server-side mod for Eco that collects store data and adds a Market section directly to the standard game server website. Players do not need to install a client-side mod.

Website features

  • Search and filter stores, items, tags, owners, and currencies;
  • compare buying and selling prices;
  • browse store cards, item images, and market overview charts;
  • save favorite offers in the browser;
  • use a responsive interface available in English and Russian;
  • manage your stores after signing in through the game;
  • change store names and availability;
  • edit offer prices, limits, items, and tags;
  • create new buying and selling offers;
  • grant other players access to manage your store.

Installation

  1. Stop Eco Server.
  2. Place the mod files inside EcoServer/Mods.

The resulting directory structure should look like this:

<pre>EcoServer/Mods/EcoMarketApi/ ├── EcoMarketApi.dll └── Web/ ├── index.html └── assets/</pre>
  1. Start the server.
  2. Wait for the first market snapshot. By default, it is created after 10 seconds.
  3. Open the standard world website and select Market from the menu.

Usage

After installation, a Market section will appear on the standard server website:

<pre>https://&lt;server-address&gt;:3001</pre>

The mod also adds the following commands:

<table> <thead> <tr> <th>Command</th> <th>Description</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr> <td>/marketrefresh</td> <td>Request an immediate market snapshot refresh</td> </tr> <tr> <td>/marketapi</td> <td>Show the current mod and snapshot status</td> </tr> </tbody> </table>

Additional configuration

The following file is created after the first launch:

<pre>EcoServer/Configs/EcoMarketApi.eco</pre>

Configuration options—these usually do not need to be changed:

<table> <thead> <tr> <th>Setting</th> <th>Default</th> <th>Description</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr> <td>SnapshotIntervalSeconds</td> <td>60</td> <td>Full background snapshot refresh interval</td> </tr> <tr> <td>InitialDelaySeconds</td> <td>10</td> <td>Delay before the first snapshot</td> </tr> <tr> <td>EventDebounceMilliseconds</td> <td>2000</td> <td>Combines a burst of market changes into a single refresh</td> </tr> </tbody> </table>

Logs are stored in:

<pre>EcoServer/Logs/EcoMarketApi/</pre>

HTTP API

The mod provides an HTTP API that can be used to develop custom integrations and external services.

Base URL:

<pre>https://&lt;server-address&gt;:3001/api/v1/ecomarket</pre>
<table> <thead> <tr> <th>Method</th> <th>Endpoint</th> <th>Description</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr> <td>GET</td> <td>/snapshot</td> <td>Current snapshot of stores and offers</td> </tr> <tr> <td>GET</td> <td>/catalog</td> <td>Eco item and tag catalog used by the editor</td> </tr> </tbody> </table>

To test the API while the server is running:

<pre>curl https://localhost:3001/api/v1/ecomarket/snapshot</pre>

API for other mods

Another server-side mod can reference EcoMarketApi.dll and import the following namespaces:

<pre>using EcoMarketApi.Api; using EcoMarketApi.Contracts;</pre>

Available members:

<table> <thead> <tr> <th>Member</th> <th>Description</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr> <td>MarketApi.Version</td> <td>Current API version</td> </tr> <tr> <td>MarketApi.LatestSnapshot</td> <td>Latest snapshot, or null</td> </tr> <tr> <td>MarketApi.SnapshotUpdated</td> <td>Event raised when a new snapshot is published</td> </tr> <tr> <td>MarketApi.RequestRefresh()</td> <td>Requests a snapshot refresh; returns false if the mod is stopped</td> </tr> </tbody> </table>

Example:

<pre>var snapshot = MarketApi.LatestSnapshot;

MarketApi.SnapshotUpdated += OnMarketUpdated; MarketApi.RequestRefresh();
