About Limited Specialty
From mod.ioLimit players to only one specialty at a time, while allowing them to switch when they earn a new star
This mod, in combination with a simple server config change, allows you to limit your players to one specialty while at the same time allowing them to switch by spending a star.
Usage
When a player earns a star, an "/upgrade" chat command becomes available which wipes current specialties and leaves the player with one star to spend on a new specialty.
Compatibility
Tested on v0.12.x
Installation
- Unzip in the Server folder of your ECO server
- Server UI: In your difficulty settings, set the number of player Specialties per Citizen to 2.
or
Server Configs: Alter Difficulty.eco and set MaxSpecialtiesPerCitizen to 2.0.
Caution
This will effectively eliminate vertical integrations and require a healthy community in order for the economy to function. On smaller servers, or servers where a lot of solo players mind their own business, it might completely brick the economy. Make sure your community understands the implications of such a change and are willing to experience pain and suffering. Or just another Tuesday for most ECO players.
