Pan Drippings

Pan drippings are a byproduct of cooking with tallow and oil. By cooking these drippings a second time, a portion of the fat used in the original recipe can be recovered as tallow or oil (depending on the cooking station and recipe). The goal of this mod is to provide a creative way to address the tallow scarcity in early game. In doing so, crafting items like tallow wall lamp, tallow candle, and etc, have an opportunity to be crafted on smaller to medium sized servers while still having enough tallow for research papers and food.

Each cooking skill has a separate recipe which can render pan drippings into tallow. Advanced cooking also has the option to render pan drippings into oil at a much higher cost. Below are the base recipe costs (without modules).

• Campfire Cooking: 4 Pan Drippings = 1 Tallow
• Cooking: 3 Pan Drippings = 1 Tallow
• Advanced Cooking: 2 Pan Drippings = 1 Tallow
• Advanced Cooking: 4 Pan Drippings = 1 Oil

Hosted Server Installation Instructions:

1. Put the PanDrippings_AnAngryRedHeadMod.zip in the root directory (Same location as Mods, Configs, and Storage)
2. Extract files here
3. Start your server!

• New files can be found here: Mods/UserCode/PanDrippingsMod/ or Mods/UserCode/AutoGen/Food
• Ensure both the PanDrippingsMod and the AutoGen folders end up in the UserCode folder (filepath: Server/Mods/UserCode)

Home Server Installation Directions:

1. Download the PanDrippings_AnAngryRedHeadMod.zip
2. Open the PanDrippings_AnAngryRedHeadMod.zip and copy the Mods folder
3. Paste the copied Mods folder into the Server Folder (root file) (filepath: Steam\steamapps\common\Eco\Eco_Data\Server\)
4. Start your server!

• New Files can be found here: Mods/UserCode/PanDrippingsMod/ or Mods/UserCode/AutoGen/Food

To Uninstall

1. Go to: Mods/UserCode/ and delete PanDrippingsMod

*Notice: The vanilla overrides contained within the AutoGen/Food folder must be deleted as well.
