KrugerSec - Mirror's Edge Catalyst pack for LVS

The KrugerSec security force of the City of Glass: three drones and two tiltrotor VTOLs. Every vehicle can be flown by a player or spawned with its own AI (the AI entries in the spawn menu) - the AI units patrol, report what they see to each other and hunt the "wanted" together.

Requires LVS Base.

Vehicles

• Hunter drone - the armed one. Locks on with a thin targeting marker, then fires bursts of GaN laser bolts from its turret.
• Security drone - searchlight, a red scan sweep that tags runners, and an alarm that calls the hunters.
• Snooper drone - the scout. Sensor pulse, marks targets as wanted for the whole team, keeps its distance.
• VTOL Transport - pilot + 4 passengers. The side doors are the LVS lock. Passengers rappel down on ropes, shoot out of the open doors with their own weapons, and NPCs can ride along (tool below).
• VTOL Gunship - charged GaN sniper turret under the nose with its own gunner seat, red searchlight, pilot + gunner + 4 passengers.

Features

• Real tiltrotor: the nacelles and wings move with every manoeuvre, airplane mode with the nacelles 90 degrees forward (key or automatic at full speed)
• Chin camera ball with a searchlight that stays where you left it, first person views from the vehicles' cameras, KSec style HUD
• Parts can be shot off: wings, rotors, doors, tail, turret. Lose a wing and the VTOL spins down and burns - it explodes a minute later. The final explosion leaves a burning wreck with the parts that were hit flying away.
• Drones lose rotors too: they spin down and burst on impact
• Rotor strikes, crash impacts, flares against LVS missiles, landing assist, cabin lights for dark maps
• Damaged AI VTOLs leave the fight, fly home and land
• Rappel ropes from the brackets above the doors, trailing behind when the VTOL flies on

Tools and gadget

• KSec VTOL NPC passengers (Tools - KrugerSec): select any NPCs, click a VTOL - they get in, stand in the cabin and shoot out of the open doors. Let them out on the ground or in the air (they rappel down).
• KSec Patrol Route (Tools - KrugerSec): place waypoints and give them to an AI drone or VTOL - it patrols them in a loop and goes back to its route after a fight. One click copies the route to the rest of the squad. Saved with the unit (duplicator, saves).
• KSec Disruptor (Weapons - KrugerSec): a pulse gadget that knocks the drones' electronics out for a few seconds - they sink, wobble and cannot fire. VTOLs only hiccup for a moment and are shielded for a while after it. Mouse 1: pulse at the unit in your sights, mouse 2: burst around you (full battery). The battery recharges on its own.
