Up to 3x the vanilla range at all times, plus a 10x radar burst when you really the whole map unlock.
Features
- Up to 3x discovery range, 3 has the same range as the old range 4
- 10x Radar Burst — reveals a huge area around you for 20 seconds, sweeping outward like a sonar ping, then goes back to normal (90s cooldown)
- Fully clientside — works on ANY server, no server install needed
- Everything in-game — no config file editing required
Commands
- /discoveryrange 1-3 — set your discovery range (saved automatically)
- /discoveryrange 10 — activate the big boy range for 20 seconds
Server friendly
The mod is designed to be kind to multiplayer servers: the huge 10x range is intentionally a short burst on a cooldown instead of a permanent setting, so it can't be used to force servers to load and simulate massive chunks of the world around every player nonstop.
