Squads can only be saved in the Settlement → Settlers interface. Select settlers via their portraits or before entering the interface, then click save Shortcut: Press X to enter Adventure Party. When the Adventure Party → Command Party interface is open: Press keys 1-8 to select squads 1-8 Press Caps Lock to clear the current selection and toggle between single-select and multi-select mode
