I intend to keep this mod simple, as I made it for Build 40/41 originally. I wasn't sure how to update it correctly for B42+, with all the complicated new items.

I ended up making a separate version for B42+ that does a smarter and configurable change to many more items, as well as mods that do the same thing for (partially) metal and stone items. Check them out:

Details

Build 42+

Uses Lua to only modify the weight property of these items. This means this mod should not break anymore on future changes to related items.

This affects the burning time of firewood items, as that is calculated based on weight. I don't intend to change that behavior, this mod is only focused on reducing encumbrance.

Build 41

Uses scripts, which overrides all properties, but only of the items mentioned above.
