3D Gun Racks

Put your weapons somewhere you can actually see them: grab them without digging through a container.

3D Gun Racks turns firearm storage into functional displays. Every slotted weapon appears as its actual model, while a compact interface keeps your collection organized and immediately accessible.

Included furniture

• Gun Cabinet — displays 3 long guns with a separate Ammo Drawer • Handgun Display Case — displays 3 handguns beneath an open glass lid • Armory Cabinet — a large 1×2 military cabinet displaying 8 long guns • Rifle Wall Rack — a wall-mounted rack for 3 long guns that keeps the floor clear • Armory Rifle Rack — a free-standing floor rack displaying 6 long guns

Fast, practical weapon access

• Right-click an empty slot to store your equipped or attached weapon • Right-click a filled slot to retrieve and equip it • Drag weapons between slots to arrange the display • Transfer eligible firearms into the main storage inventory to automatically fill free slots • Fast transfer actions keep storing and retrieving weapons responsive • Separate Ammo Drawers hold ammunition, weapon parts, and spare firearms

Built to behave like real furniture

• Slot assignments and displayed weapons persist through save/load • Fully synchronized in single-player and multiplayer • Cabinets must be emptied before pickup • Both halves of the Armory Cabinet behave as one piece • Supports modded firearms that follow Project Zomboid’s normal weapon and model conventions • Distinct recipes, construction icons, materials, capacities, and four-directional artwork

Compatibility

No firearm packs are specifically supported. Weapons are classified using the game’s standard firearm properties, allowing model replacements and conventionally authored new weapons to work automatically.

Weapons without a valid world model are safely refused. Incorrectly declared modded weapons may appear in the wrong display type.

Safe to add mid-save, not recommended to remove mid-save (remove any existing racks in world beforehand)

First-person compatibility / asset use: Not supported.

My mods ship sprites for the games isometric rendering. I do not distribute the source models or maintain first-person compatibility. Please respect that boundary and do not extract, reconstruct, reverse-engineer, convert, or otherwise derive my released assets into 3D models or compatibility versions without permission.

Scope

These displays are purpose-built for firearms. Melee weapon support is outside the intended scope and is not currently planned.

This mod received substantially more engineering attention than any weapon cabinet reasonably deserves. The current catalog is considered complete.

Translations

Piece names are localized in twelve languages, on the build menu, in the inventory and on the container header.
