[41/42.21MP] Visible Casing Ejection Framework - Hot Brass

Is a passion project and my first official mod. I always love keeping an eye on small details, and that's why I started on a journey of making casings visible and now it has evolved into something more than I originally envisioned.

New version out!

With this new version, we delegate rendering to the client and avoid adding or removing world items, improving performance and reducing network traffic. Huge thanks to Jimbeamdiablo for the inspiration.

BIG thanks to the modding community from Zomboid and all the wonderful people in there.

Changes to Gameplay

Racking now causes you to eject an unfired round, make sure you pick them up. Revolvers and manually-loaded shotguns behave the same as in vanilla for racking.

Manual racking can be turn on in sandbox settings.

Some of the features regarding casings

• React to the world around, fall to different levels, react against walls, land on objects (tables, chairs, counters, etc...), open or close windows or doors
• Bounce around
• Play appropriate casing sounds to the tile they are landing on
• be cool looking :D

If you find a bug, please report it in the thread for it, not the comments.

If you experience missing files when joining a server. The server needs to disable Lua Checksum.

ADDONS!

Tactical Reload

Quickly eject a magazine causing it to drop on the floor, but insert a new one faster, great for emergency moments. make sure you pick them up after.

[h2] Ammocraft [/h2] NEW! Reuse and repurpose spent casings into bullets again. Find projectile boxes, extract gunpowder, and place primers into the casings.
