Welcome to Tikitown!

A huge shoutout to Jenntacles

and their community for allowing me to test and troubleshoot many of the MP related bugs and features on the server. Swing by and check them out, a really amazing community!

Tikitown sits between Riverside and West Point, near Fallas Lake. Use it as a long-term base, a supply run, or just another place you clear out and move on from. Walk the old main street, pick through the downtown shops and offices, or move into one of the custom houses and rebuild it however you want.

It mixes familiar Kentucky sprawl with a lot of new ground to fight over and fortify. Some of it's comfortable. Some of it isn't. A few spots are better left alone.

Tikitown's Own Powerplant

The power plant is the biggest addition to Tikitown. It's a separate add-on mod you enable on its own, but it ships bundled with this workshop item, so there's nothing extra to download. The user guide is still being written and the current version is already a little behind thanks to some last-minute changes, but it's here: Tikitown Power Plant User Guide

Give it a run and leave feedback. Wear rates are in the mod options so you can tune them to your playstyle, and I'll keep making small changes as I go, including a fueling requirement down the line.

Tikitown Scrap Works

Another add-on that's bundled in with this workshop item, same as the power plant. Enable it separately if you want it.

Scrap Works lets you break down junk into scrap metal, and then use that scrap to make metal items at a salvage workbench. A few of the recipes are welding versions of things you'd normally need blacksmithing for, but I tried not to just copy vanilla recipes.

There are only 4 or 5 workbenches and they're all in one building in Tikitown. You can't build them but you can pick one up and haul it back to your base. They don't need power, but you'll need your own tools.

To learn the recipes you'll need to find the Knox Salvage Digest magazines. There are 5 of them. Check metalworking shops, tool stores, and magazine racks, and you might get lucky in a junk pile.

What's new in Tikitown

Tikitown has picked up hundreds of new locations for Build 42, with over 250 new buildings since launch. If you knew the B41 version, a lot of the town is different now.

- Downtown rebuild: A reworked business core with new landmarks, side streets, and trouble spots. - Rail and docks: A commuter rail line plus a large warehouse, railyard, and docklands for late-game looting and base builds. - Blackshields Sheriff's Office: A large police station themed around the Blackshields. - FBI field office: A small federal site with security, offices, and higher-end loot if you can clear it. - Tikitown University: A full campus with lecture halls, dorms, and a to-scale baseball and football field. - Mansion Row expanded: More big houses on the hill if you like gated compounds and long driveways. - New underground spaces: Tunnels, garages, and service corridors that link parts of town and give you more ways to move around or disappear. - Industrial sector overhaul: Factories, depots, and yards built out as a proper industrial belt on the edge of town. - Tikitown Power Plant add-on: A fully mapped power station behind the hospital, with repairable equipment, custom loot, and an optional system to bring the town's grid back online for a while. - Tikitown Scrap Works add-on: Break junk down into scrap and make metal gear out of it. Workbenches are rare, so grab one if you find it. - Expanded docks: A built-out Port Authority and northside docks, with more warehouses, offices, and room to stash a boat or a safehouse. - Proxima Medical: Explore the depths of the Proxima medical research facility to discover the secrets within

Will you claim Tikitown as your own, or will it just be another place you passed through?

Tikitown in B41 requires the following tilepacks: Melos Tiles Daddy Dirkie's Tiles Newburbs Drazion's Tilepack

B41 Tikitown sits on the following cells: 23,23 23,24 23,25 24,23 24,24 24,25 25,23 25,24

Tikitown is getting rebuilt piece by piece and it's not done yet. Some of what's still coming:

- High-rise work: More attention to the taller office area and business district. - Extra underground links: More service corridors and tucked-away connections between key blocks.
