Battery Jumpstarter

Description

Forgot your car lights on and now your battery is dead? Worry no more! The brand new Stanly Portable Jumpstarter will bring your battery back up to 15% and save the day!

How it works

• How do I use the battery jumpstarter?
• Open your vehicle's mechanics window, right click the battery, and click "Jumpstart". The jumpstarter can be in your main inventory or in any bag you're carrying.
• When does it work?
• Only on car batteries at 10% charge or lower. Each attempt uses one charge and has a 75% chance of bringing the battery up to 15%.
• How do I recharge it?
• The jumpstarter holds 5 charges and doesn't need a generator nearby to be used. Once it runs out, go to a generator that's turned on, right click it, and click "Recharge Jumpstarter". Each charge costs 0.1 L of generator fuel, so a full recharge uses 0.5 L (Build 41: 1 fuel unit per charge).
• Where can I find it?
• It can spawn in mechanic shops, car supply stores, garages, Gigamarts, and vehicle trunks.
• Can I change the numbers?
• On Build 42, yes. The Battery Jumpstarter page in Sandbox Options lets you change the success chance, the battery charge after a jumpstart, the maximum battery charge that can be jumpstarted, and the fuel cost per charge.

Compatibility

• Other Mods - No known incompatibilities with other mods.
• Game Version - Supports both Build 41 (41.73+) and Build 42.
• Multiplayer - Works in multiplayer.
• Pre-existing saves - Can be added to your pre-existing save.
