Lets you hang a sheet over see-through fences and empty door frames, the same way you can hang one over a window. Zombies can't see through a closed sheet, and neither can you.
Window sheets that fit the window
The most asked-for thing here has been fixing the vanilla window sheet, which only covers the top half of tall windows and storefront glass. That's now its own mod: Fitted Sheets. Add Sheet works as normal and the sheet is cut to the size of the glass. Works alongside this one.
How it works
Right-click a tall chainlink or metal bar fence, or a door frame with no door in it, and pick Add Sheet from the Fence or Doorway submenu. It uses one Sheet from your inventory.
Double door frames in houses have a much taller opening than a normal door; those get a sheet and tarp cut to fit, hung from the header. Fences come in several heights, and each gets a sheet and tarp cut to its own top rail.
Click the sheet to open or close it. Remove it and you get the Sheet back. You can still climb the fence and walk through the doorway with a sheet on it.
If the fence or frame gets destroyed, or you build a door into a covered frame, the sheet drops on the ground.
Tarps
For longer stretches there's Cover with Tarp. One Tarp covers up to 3 fence tiles in a row, or a whole doorway including double doors. It opens and closes as one piece and you get the Tarp back when you take it down.
What you can cover
- Tall chainlink, including damaged and burnt sections
- Tall metal bar and wrought iron fences
- Wire security fences, jail bars, mall grilles
- Player-built metal bar fences
- Empty door frames, both map ones and player-built. If the frame already has a door it's left alone.
Low fences aren't covered since you can see over them anyway, and solid fences don't need it.
Balance
Sheets block sight only. Zombies still hear you, and the fence is no stronger than before.
Multiplayer
Works, but I haven't tested it much. Let me know if something breaks.

Compatibility
- Build 42 only. Works on 42.20 (stable) and 42.21 (unstable)
- Safe to add to an existing save
- If you uninstall, take your sheets down first
The rest of the set
Same idea on different things: whatever goes over an opening should fit the opening. Each one works on its own, they don't overlap, and none of them touch a vanilla file.
