Immersive Hunting

Dynamic and immersive hunting mod that lets you scavange for traces of animals and then track and hunt them. It uses the foraging system combined with player's skills, traits, weather, luck and mood Once you find and pick up the traces they will spawn infront of you on the ground, from where you can further investigate and track the game (You can't take the traces/tracks with you and are forced to hunt where you foraged/investigated them. They will dissappear in 3 days if not used to hunt). Works both in SP and MP and can be added/removed mid-game.

[*]Four different types of animals can be tracked and hunted : Rabbit, birds, deer and wild pig.
[*]Traces of animals can be found in every zone but they most likely appear in deep forest.
[*]Small game traces can be found with foraging skill 2 and up
[*]Big game traces can be found with foraging skill 4 and up
[*]Often birds can be spotted without any skill and don't need to be tracked.
[*]Most important skills for tracking is foraging and sneaking.
[*]Traits like Hunter, Outdoorsman and Former Scout get better results while tracking.
[*]Bad weather conditions such as heavy rain, fog, snow or wind make it harder to track game.

[*]Hunting action will make an actual shooting sound and will attract zombies.
[*]Hunting rifles have better chance of getting a big animal then shotguns. Shotguns are better against birds.
[*]If your rifle have a scope then this helps along a lot too. Just make sure your rifle is equiped while hunting.
[*]Most important skills for hunting with a gun is Aiming and Sneaking. 
[*]Most important skills for hunting with a spear is Spear, Fitness, Strenght and Sneaking.
[*]Traits like Hunter, Outdoorsman, Desensitized, Eagle Eyed and Former Scout get better results while hunting.
[*]Traits like Clumsy and Short Sighted lower the chances a bit to succesfully hunt a game.
[*]Bad weather conditions such as heavy rain, fog, snow or wind make it harder to hunt game.
[*]When you are sick or just feel cold then this will lower the chances a bit to succesfully hunt a game as well.
[*]Hunters get mood bonus when hunting, tracking or butchering game. Hemophobic's get stress from hunting and butchering.
[*]Birds and rabbits have the vanilla nutrition value(Its is raised if you also use [b][url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2890748284]Food Preservation Plus[/url][/b]) and [b]deer(base 17000 calories)[/b] and wild [b]pig(base 10000 calories)[/b] is from this mod. Nutrition values are multiplied randomly from 0.5 to 1.5. 
[*]Small animals give the meat you'd get from vanilla trapping and Deer/Pig will give you chunks of meat(Renamed steak, item won't change and can be used in all the recipes a regular steak could be)
[*]I did not add more bigger animals as I wanna make a fine balance between fishing , farming and trapping food supplies. Just roleplay the bears and elks were zombified as well.

Use Food Preservation Plus mod to have a lot more options on what to do with the meat. If this mod is enabled then you also get bones from big animals that can be made into glue. You can also make smoked meat, tallow and all kinds of other stuff in that mod.
