SAFE TO ADD MID-SAVE
Snow that reacts to you. Walk, drive or stand in a blizzard and the world shows it: footprints and tire ruts, snow piling up on cars and clothes, clothes getting wet, breath vapour in the frost.

Footprints
Players, nearby zombies and animals leave prints in ground snow: boots, bare feet, hooves and paws, red prints after stepping on a corpse and drops behind the wounded. Ground walked over again and again becomes a trodden path. They fade with time and get covered faster during heavy snowfall. Step off the snow onto a road or porch and you leave a few snowy prints that melt in warmth. Footprints and tire tracks, before and after (the same walk and drive, drawn with the mod's textures):
Tire tracks
Every wheel of every vehicle leaves a rut with a tread pattern, modded vehicles included. Driving off the snow leaves fading white tread marks on the asphalt.
Snow on vehicles
Snow builds up on vehicles parked outdoors: body, doors, hood, trunk, windows, roof and wheels, with frost and icing on sides and glass. It melts in warmth and from a running engine, and blows off in clumps and powder above 40 km/h. In the cold the windows frost over: scrape the frost off, or brush the snow off the whole vehicle (right-click it). Snow on vehicles since 0.4.0 (light, medium and heavy snow):
Snow on characters
Snow settles on clothes, bags and the item in your hands while you are outdoors in snowfall, and melts indoors, by a fire or in the rain. Zombies get snowy too. Falling and melting snow soaks your clothes like rain does, walking through snow wets your shoes; water-resistant clothes and boots protect. Right-click - Shake the snow off before you go inside: snow you shake off never soaks in.
Breath vapour
In the frost every exhale puffs a few soft wisps that drift with the wind. The harder you breathe, the more often and the thicker.
Winter world
In a strong frosty wind snow dust drifts along the ground. Fires melt a wet patch into the snow around them.
Everything can be turned on/off and tuned on the Immersive Snow page of the sandbox options: lifetimes, limits, build-up and melting speeds, wetting, breath. The same options are in Options > Mods for each player. For weak integrated graphics there is a low-end mode (sandbox or Options > Mods).
Snow on vehicles works with vanilla vehicles, KI5, PZK VLC (Vanilla look-like car pack) and most vehicle mods on its own, but not every vehicle mod is supported yet. Snow on clothing works with Spongie's Clothing and Open Jackets, More Jackets, Vanilla Outfits Expanded, Alice gear, Hardwood's packs, other clothing mods and retextures of vanilla clothes. Weapon mods should work too. Project Viewpoint in first person: add Immersive Snow - Viewpoint (needs ZombieBuddy). If a clothing or vehicle mod you use gets no snow or looks wrong, tell me in the comments or on Discord (the mod's name or a link is enough) and I'll add it.
