Introduction
NVAPI is a Night Vision API designed to help modders integrate night vision capability to their assets.
Features
* one can see through the darkest night * view brightness is proportional to the amount of ambient light * players around can't see one's visibility cone when activated * 4 filter mods: noiseless, linear blur, infrared and xray * many sound effects * item shatters if it falls to the ground * item can be repaired * item is battery powered * item shutdowns when it runs out of battery charge * item refuses to turn on when there is no charge
Who is using this API?
Is it difficult to integrate the API into my mod?
Not at all. You just tag the item as Night Vision Capable and provide a hotkey to toggle the view.
