Restraining items
This feature can be given by external mods adding dedicated items (like handcuffs or ropes) with very specific features. This feature is not active until a complying mod is used. If the feature is not active, the placeholder picture of handcuffs above player's head from previous versions is used instead. A restraining item definition must include the following parameters:
- RequiresEquippedBothHands = true,
- Tags = CanRestrain, /*note that there can be other tags, like HasMetal or whatever.*/
A restraining item should probably include
- 2D (inventory) texture.
- 3D (world) texture and asociated definitions.
- According player animations.
Here I will try to keep updated a list of complying mods:
Technical details
- Based on ModOptions for key setting.
- It is always possible to exit the game (but you may need to unpause).
Planned Features
- Take items off a restrained player.
- An UI for Inspect action.
- Automatick stick from restrained player.
