Tired of zombies splattering their brains all over your pretty lawn? Well no more! Just wait for some rain or snow and watch it all fade away.

What gets cleaned?

  • Blood on the ground, walls, and floors
  • Ash left behind by burned corpses
  • Animal droppings (dung) on the ground (B42+)
  • Blood and dirt on your worn clothing (B42+)
  • Blood on nearby vehicles (B42+)

Everything fades gradually, only while it's raining or snowing (unless you turn that off), and every part of it is configurable.

Does it work in multiplayer?

Yes, fully server-authoritative.

Can I add this to my current game?

Yes, you can add or remove this mod at any time. It contains no save-breaking features.

How does it work?

Every game minute the mod checks the weather intensity against a configurable threshold. If it's raining or snowing hard enough, it randomly selects a number of nearby tiles and cleans them. Clothing and vehicles are cleaned incrementally on the same tick.

Why not always?

Immersion — watching blood fade in the rain just feels right. The gradual approach also keeps the performance impact minimal. That said, there's a sandbox option to always clean regardless of weather if you prefer.

Sandbox options

Everything is configurable: cleaning speed, weather threshold, tiles per minute, and toggles for ash, animal droppings, indoor cleaning, vehicles, and clothing.
